Does The Sim Card Need To Be In The Phone When Sent For Repair?

We don’t need the SIM card. Please remove your SIM and Memory Card before you ship the Phone to us. But you don’t need to clear all data or reset the Phone if you wish to retain all your data.

Do I Need To Send Any Accessories Games Or Power Supply?

Please do not send any accessories (or Console games/discs) in with your repairs unless we have specifically requested them (e.g. for a power problem we may require the charger or power supply). We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to accessories while in our possession (SIM cards, memory cards, chargers, boxes, cases, cables, mounts etc.). On occasions, we may ask for certain accessories to be sent in after our initial diagnosis for further testing as they may be related to the fault.

What Shipping Method You Use And How Much Does It Cost?

We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for all standard repairs and Tracked 24 for priority repairs.The Collection of the device is free. However, the return shipping is not included in the repair cost.

Return shipping cost:
UK £6.90, European Union £14.90, we currently do not offer any services outside the EU.

Please note that we dont take responsibility for delays due to the courier.

What Is The Mailing Address And Do You Have Prepaid Labels?

Once you have filed the repair request form, you will receive an email confirmation with our address and the prepaid post label (if selected) together with your repair request id.

The Post Office Refuse My Parcel Because Of Their Weight?

If the post offices refuse to accept the parcel please drop it off at you nearest Royal Mail depot.

What If I Cannot Print The Free Post Label Sent Be Email?

No printer? No problem! Royal Mail can print your label at your local depot or Post Office.It works by sending a QR code to your mobile, which you take to either a Post Office branch or Royal Mail Customer Service Point (CSP). They’ll scan the QR code, print the label, which you can then fix to your parcel and drop off while you’re there.

Do I Need To Send My Charger With The Device?

Only if you have problems to charge your device. Please always remove all accessories that are not related to the repair before shipping.

How Long Does It Take To Deliver To You And Back?

Standard Repairs, we offer a tracked 48 service, and Royal Mail aims to deliver the parcel within 48 hours while our Priority Repairs benefit from a tracked 24 service and Royal Mail aims to deliver within 24 hours.

What If No Walk In Store Is Nearby And My Item Is Too Large Or Too Heavy To Send?

Unfortunately, we would not be able to carry out the repair required if the item is unsuitable for shipping or no walk-in store is nearby.

When Will I Receive Dispatch Details And A Tracking Id?

You will receive an email automatically with the tracking information and the expected delivery date by the end of the day once dispatched.You can also find the tracking details at the repair request details in the Customer Portal.

Do You Send Packaging For Me To Send It To Be Repaired?

We provide a prepaid shipping label for a Royal Mail Tracked Return which you can use to ship but you will need to package the item yourself.

Will My Item Be Insured Against Damage Or Loss During Transit?

All items sent to SendmyRepair are made under a shipment contract. Before we receive any device, the risk of loss and title for such items remains with the customer. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items passes to us only upon delivery from the courier (Royal Mail).We use the Royal Mail Tracked Service for all our shipments which means that all parcels are insured for up to £100 only. Please also see Royal Mails Compensation Policy for further information.

Can I Pick Up From The Post Office I Drop It Off At?

Yes, you can.Royal Mail will attempt the delivery but if nobody was there to sign for it, or if it was too big for your letterbox Royal Mail will leave a ‘Something for you’ (also known as a P739) card. You can then collect your item from your local Depot or request redelivery on a more suitable date.

What Info Do I Need To Put In The Parcel With My Device?

None. We have all the Information we need once the Repair Request form has been completed and we can identify the item by the prepaid post label. If you organised the shipping yourself don’t forget the Repair Request ID on the outside of the parcel.
